Yurosa’s “Own Me” is a silky, smoldering electro-pop slow-jam. Breezy yet anthemic, moody yet playful. A song about infatuation that explores the subject from both an positive and negative point of view. The accompany music video was shot on the harsh streets of Port of Spain, Trinidad and shows the artist (Yurosa) as a shadow of his former self and trying to come to terms with a push and pull relationship and the prospect of loss.

Yurosa is the creative name of UK/Trinidad based electronic music producer, singer /songwriter James Debroy. Songs include Running that was critically acclaimed by the BBC. Coming Back which was highly praised by Q Magazine when Yurosa were marked as artist of the week. Both songs were taken from the forthcoming debut EP Lost & Found: Part 1.
The tracks were recorded and produced across four different countries (US, Mexico, Trinidad and the UK) leading to the eclectic mix of sounds.
