After driving fans crazy with her latest, “I’m Pissed.” Thriving new songstress Lourdiz spices things up for her next release, grabbing Latin superstar Jon Z for the hit-making collaboration, titled, “Ground Control.” In the third, Lourdiz and Jon Z tap into Latin heritage to stun with energetic vocals and catchy wordplay. Proving that Lourdiz is ready to take over the top of the charts.
“When I wrote the song I wanted to find a way to blend elements from the music I grew up listening to with the artists I love today,” Lourdiz on making the song. “My family’s Mexican culture is a big part of my identity, it’s who I am and where I came from, so it’s all about blending my past and my future. I’m very grateful for the experience of writing this record with Jon Z. It was a very grounding process and bringing in his vibe was the key.”
“Ground Control” follows Lourdiz’s “Suicide Down.” Two-for-two now, it’s only a matter of time before fans are treated to a full-length release anticipated 2020. To continue following the current campaign, follow Lourdiz on social media for latest efforts.
