[Interview] @BoogaBradshaw on #IBTHHRadio

Booga Bradshaw (AKA 806Boog) is an independent Israelite hip-hop recording artist based in Texas. Born in Lubbock and raised in the tiny town of Amherst, TX, Boog has always been a student of all aspects of music, from groovin’ instrumentals to meaningful lyrics. Down home blues and jazz had a huge influence on Booga growing up, as well as hip-hop and Neo Soul. After graduating high school, Boog went on to college where he played NCAADivision II basketball. A few years passing, he found himself making beats in his spare time with his roommates and close friends. Eventually, after recording a few freestyles and honing in on his beat making skills, he decided to officially focus on his own musical endeavors.

[Video] Prophit Muzic “Sacrifices”

Newark, New Jersey native Profit, born David Garcia, learned early that nothing in life comes without struggle, and his struggles provide the basis for his artistic expression—rapping. Born September 23, 1986, Profit watched his single mother work hard to provide the best she could for him and his younger brother. When Profit was ten his mother moved the family to Tifton, Georgia—a drastic change from the Newark cityscape. However, small-town Tifton left Profit with some ambivalence. At the age of twelve he met his “brothers from another mother,”Jermaine and Jamal Miller, and together they tapped into their musical talents. The influences of their music came from Pastor Troy, No Limit Soldiers and Cash Money; although Profit feels that the emergence of T.I. greatly influenced him musically. “When T.I.P. came out that was the best rapper alive to me…I wasn’t trying to be a swagger-jacker, but if there was anybody that I idolized it would have to be T.I.” Meeting the boys was the highlight of Profit’s Tifton experience as the three, along with Profit’s younger brother, began to rap. After the creation of the foursome, however, troubles soon followed in Profit’s personal life. He was eventually expelled from Tift County High School leaving him no choice but to return to New Jersey in 2004 at the age of 18. “I was considered a trouble maker, always getting in trouble in school and getting in trouble at home, but I just thought I was misunderstood.” The feelings of being misunderstood followed him back to Jersey as he searched for a stable living situation. He was often displaced and shifting between the homes of his relatives—until he would get kicked out. Just when things seemed as though they could not get any worse, a much-needed opportunity arose. One of Profit’s friends was attending Essex County College and told the basketball coach about Profit’s situation, and the coach offered a proposal: if he made the basketball team, he could stay in the dorms. “With God’s grace I made the team.” Everything was beginning to look up, but the troubles continued as he was forced to leave school after two semesters due to grades. The father of two girls eventually moved back to Georgia with a new prospective and a new dream, determined to make it rapping. As Profit’s music continues to remain self-spoken and meaningful, his supporters continue to grow. Reaching from the hoods in New Jersey to Tifton, Georgia, Even Over to asia, he is making his name known through various showcases and performances. Willing to take his negatives in life and create positives with them, he is ready to work just as hard in music as he has in life to make a way, while still keeping his priorities intact. “I have my talent and my blessings, but without God none of this would matter. I am chosen not because I can rap, or not because I can write music, but I’m blessed because God has tasks for me to fulfill, and life, for me, is finding out what these tasks are. I love helping people and giving, so listen out for me.” Profit who has now changed the spelling of his name: Prophit ! Which he gives both meanings has took his music career to new depths dropping his first video and Single ” Sacrifices ” will soon seen and heard world wide as he continues to rise.

[Single] @X_RATED25 ‘Don’t Hang With’

Chattahoochee, Florida, is home to a young, up-and-coming rap star named X-R.A.T.E.D . X-R.A.T.E.D has been writing music for nine years, and so far has five mixtapes out via DatPiff. With his streetwise lyrics and pounding back tracks, X-R.A.T.E.D brings a North Florida feel to the rap game. That slight Southern twang fits perfectly with his lyrics and brings a new flavor to trap.
[Single] @X_RATED25 'Don't Hang With'

X-R.A.T.E.D says, ” I been a hustler all my life. I am a song writer, and I put a 100% in everything I do. I’m also a loving father, just looking to give my kids a better life.”

[EP] @SALESENYC ‘Mia Vita’

Change has come…

Very rarely in the world of Hip Hop today do you encounter the best of all worlds. An artist with hit making ability, an image that is marketable yet honest and genuine, matched with sharp business savvy all wrapped in one.

Recording artist SaleSe represents just that.

And now more than ever, SaleSe feels the need to give the music business what it’s been lacking: creativity, a fresh perspective, a reason to party and a dose of that New York City reality…
After a slew of club performances from NYC to Florida, over 1000 appearances on various mix tapes, magazine features, blogs as well as a DVD circulating on the Internet with SaleSe battling it out cipher style with a younger Kanye West in addition to an IPhone full of industry contacts from A&R’s to CEO’s & DJ’s galore, SaleSe is back in the booth with a vengeance, although he never really left…

With a larger than life personality, an expensive taste for fashion (especially his trademark sunglasses) and the release of 5 albums respectively titled “Family Dinner”, “Still Hungry” “The Main Course” “The Last Supper” and his newest project “Mia Vita” with features from some big name artists along with production from the hottest up and coming producers in the game, SaleSe is back at it and better than ever.

“I feel there’s 2 people that the world should hear, Rob Salese and SaleSe, and I plan to give them both through my music.”

Stay tuned…
