Pete Santos – “Fisherman” / @petesantos22

“People fish for all types things in life: success, love, adventure, maturity, and wisdom. I wanted the title of my new album to represent the quest that everyone is on,” shares Pete Santos, an American MC, singer, and song-writer whose music is a blend of hip-hop, pop, R&B, and soul music.

Pete Santos has released four singles off his current release, “Fisherman”, attracting over 50.000 listeners on Spotify in just the past two months. Santos teamed with long-time collaborator Berat “B.Cimili” Cimili, this time to produce the entire project; a decision he feels very good about. Santos believes “Fisherman” is his best body of work and he eagerly awaits fans’ feedback.

Growth on every release is my goal and I feel I achieved that and more with this project. The production and my songwriting have reached a new level and I sang more on this album. All that meshed in so well in my opinion.”

Pete Santos – “Blood in the Streets” / @petesantos22

Air Force brat turned singer/songwriter and rapper, Pete Santos, has brought his latest single, “Blood in the Streets” to life with this recently released visual. The video depicts the bereavement of a family whose loved one was taken in a senseless act of violence, leaving their lives seemingly without meaning; except for revenge.

“Blood in the Streets” will appear on Santos’ March 2019 album, “Fisherman” and is currently available on all DSP’s.

Pete Santos – “Bang Bang” Ft Sara Sayed

With it’s upbeat track and message, “Bang Bang”, which Santos co-wrote, is the perfect way to kick off your 2018 on the right note.

Pete Santos – “Odd Nights”

You may note a certain worldliness about Pete Santos’ music, and you would be correct. It comes courtesy of his travels growing up as an Air Force brat. So, although he can list the likes of ODB, Kanye, Outkast, Lecrae and De La Soul as influences, the singer/songwriter and emcee has also absorbed the sounds and cultures of the many places he has lived and travelled to. Currently a resident of Finland, Santos still has his sights set on making his mark in the music game stateside and his releases to date include an EP in March 2017 entitled “Our Lives Begin” and recently in August a single titled, “Last Night People”, available on all the DSP’s.

Today’s offering, “Odd Nights”, is a trappish song about playing video games. The song embodies a scene that many video game players go through, especially when playing video games online. In the chorus Pete Santos says, ‘we go live’, which is the monumental moment when the player/s can compete. The song is the first single of four coming off of Santos’ upcoming album, “Paint the Picture”, expected next spring. Check out the video for “Odd Nights” below.
