Ishtrumentals, Atlanta’s hot new rapper, releases “Dosage” , a single off his forthcoming debut album.

Ish describes a personal turmoil along with an attempt to balance his personal life and music career. He references his need for a ‘triple dose’ to see the truth; a truth he can only vision with his eyes shut.

The Atlanta MVP delivers catchy punchlines over trippy pulsations and electric tones to heighten the emotion and ‘mind blown’ feel of the track.  Stream “Dosage” above and follow Ishtrumentals on Instagram.

ENYergon – Mile Low Club

New York native ENYergon prepares to drop
second EP in ‘Trimurti’ trilogy

BROOKLYN, NY – As a child, Sais Black loved Transformers. He watched all the cartoons, he collected all the toys, and he could tell you everything about the world. For instance, he could tell you that the substance that gave the Transformers their power was something called “Energon”. And as he grew up and started discovering a natural ability as a rapper and musician, he knew he wanted to be an artist that displayed that kind of power to the world. And so it made perfect sense for him to adopt the stage name ENYergon. The pseudonym is an adaptation of Energon and the abbreviated version of East New York.

Today, ENYergon is a standout hip hop artist from New York whose initial EP, “Trimurti: Welcome to the Underverse”, gained him some major attention along the East Coast. Now he’s ready to follow that up with the second of a planned EP trilogy, “Trimurti 2: Breathe Life.” The trilogy of projects is inspired by the Hindu religion of Trimurti that is similar to Christianity’s holy trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

“I use that as inspiration, with each one about people who were close to me that I lost – my mother, brother and father,” ENYergon said. “Each EP is a different vibe. ‘Breathe Life’ is about breathing new life into hip hop, and really focuses on that kind of vibe.”

One of the things that set ENYergon apart from others in the industry is his subject matter. It’s easy to pigeonhole artists and put them in a box – painting them as only a trap artist, or a gangsta rapper, or an R&B aficionado. But ENYergon embraces versatility and said he is an artist who can be looked to as someone who creates a wide variety of music – something for the clubs, or something with deep lyricism, or something for the streets, and everything in between. Ultimately, it’s his subject matter and that versatility that set him apart.

“I just want my music to be looked at as versatile,” he said. “It’s everything to me. I can do hardcore, soft, love songs, lyrical, clubs songs – anything that kind of takes risks and goes against the grain. High risk equals high reward. It may not always work out but if it does, it’s gonna hit them, leave a memory and keep people intrigued. That’s the type of sense and reality I’m trying to inject into the genre – being unexpected and taking risks.”

The debut single from the new EP is “Mile Low Club” which will further demonstrate ENYergon’s versatility by bringing a smoother R&B vibe through a song that he calls a perfect single of “sexual intercourse on a train.” It serves as an appetizer of sorts, to whet the appetites of listeners before hitting them with an upbeat, powerhouse single in “Butterflies,” featuring the Songstress Jai Emm which is set to drop later this summer.

Another track from the EP, “American Nigga,” is a perfect example of that versatility. It explores the plight and pitfalls that society brings to the doorstep of his demographic.

“You might think it’s good, but it’s not,” he said. “There are things like materialism or detrimental cycles with family that set a bad example for the community and kids altogether. I don’t want to be an American Nigga. This song is a call out to the world and international community about what goes on within these borders.” There is an awakening going on in the black community that this song embodies. The full EP will be distributed across all digital distribution sites in September.

Siciliano – Replay

Italian-American rapper Siciliano pays homage
to heritage with new album ‘Sunday Dinner’

RICHMOND, VA – Traditions and heritage are extremely important to Anthony Simonetti. Growing up in The Bronx among an Italian-American family, he remembers keenly the things that his friends and family would do that were homage to his Italian heritage. One of his fondest memories and something which he still participates in today is Sunday Dinner – the time every week when friends and family gather around the dinner table to share a good meal while connecting with one another. It’s one of those quintessential traditions that people all over the world can point to as a marker of the Italian heritage.

As a musician, Simonetti – who goes by the stage name Siciliano – wants to capture the emotions that come from moments like that and celebrate the elements of his Italian heritage that he loves and for which he is so proud. But unlike many from within the Italian population, he’s choosing to do it with hip-hop music.

“My whole heritage means everything to me, but hip-hop wasn’t a huge part of that type of community where I grew up,” he said. “But growing up in The Bronx, it is impossible not to hear rap music. It was something that was always around me, even in the very Italian area of The Bronx where I grew up. There were a lot of rappers coming from The Bronx and making it big and that drew my attention. When I started learning that there were people not far from where I grew up who were making it and repping who they are and their people, I knew it was something I also wanted to do for Italians. That’s when I started making my own certain rhyming scheme that’s kind of a mix-and-match style.”

That unique sound and style is displayed perfectly on his new album, “Sunday Dinner.” It’s a project that was born from his desire to capture elements of his heritage and pair it with sounds inspired by some of the greatest musicians along the East Coast. The album features a number of artists from Richmond, and even has two tracks on which Siciliano is more of a feature than the main artist. But bringing people together through music is what he wants to do with his career, not only because he knows it makes for great music but also because it’s a nod to what the Italian tradition is all about.

“That’s what ‘Sunday Dinner’ is all about,” he said. “That’s a huge thing for Italians. And the idea for me as a musician, especially with this album, is to find the best talent out there and bring them to the table. It’s never gonna be just about me. I’m always bringing other people to the table and making it more about good music than about me as an individual.”

The debut single on the album, “Replay,” features producer Keith Blvck who Siciliano said is one of his favorite musicians to work with. It’s a song that the two of them recorded in one studio session in one of those moments where everything comes together easily and “the magic just happens.” It’s a song about living his lifestyle and how the things of life are so good that you want to put them on replay and live them over and over again. A music video for the single is in the works and should drop by May. He’s also working on music videos for the singles “At The Party” and “Too Hard On Em.” Siciliano also said there’s a potential for a smaller EP to drop later this year but right now, he’s focusing on promoting “Sunday Dinner” and showing off his unique skills to the world.

No Image – Cadence

Texas artist “No Image” hits the scene with his latest single “Cadence”

I see that we have some hot new talent out of Texas. No Image could very well be on his way to putting Austin, Texas on the map. The name “No Image” represents exactly what it is No Imageno brand, just pure music and soul. He doesn’t have one particular style per se, he fuses a multitude of sounds together and delivers multi-genre creations.

Its dope how he integrates a particular style/sound in his music while keeping it versatile and each its own. If you listen to “Running” it sounds totally different from “Take me to Paradise” but both tracks have a signature sound which can be found in most of his songs. You may notice some similarities with “Fan Now” and “Cadence“, but each song has its own sound, and creates its own vibe. On top of having witty lyrics, No Image creates deep, meaningful stories and has well crafted music you might want to give this guy a chance!

When we spoke with No Image about this track he said “I tried to find a new sound that would captivate any listener. I believe I have done that with CADENCE. It is a very wavy yet dark song. It puts you in the mind of the artist and takes you on a journey to explore creative talent while being in your own body.

If he keeps bringing the heat like this he could very well be next to make it! With more than 270,000 streams on Spotify “Cadence” is already reaching the people!

The hook goes: “Ima have y’all baaannngin to my Caandeeeence, Ima go crazy til I make iiiiittt!” 4x

Ima have Y’all bangin, I swear ima make it, Im jus on the waitlist take it postdated cash it when Im famous” 1x

It’s no wonder why so many people are tuned in, besides the mega catchy hook “Cadence” has the sound everyone wants to hear. Don’t listen to me tho press play and listen to the song for yourself and you be the judge. Dj’s hit me up if you want to put this in rotation or you can catch up with him below!
