Nealy – The Passion of Rapping

Nealy’s new album offers fans a variety of ‘good vibes’

RALEIGH, NC – Justin Nealy is the kind of guy you just love to hang out with. He always has been. For as long as he can remember he’s had a natural talent for making people happy. And it just so happens that the best way he does that is through music.

When it comes to his artistry, his music serves as the backdrop for a true entertainer. He loves to record music, but he loves to perform it for a live audience even more. His most recent project is an album called “Paper Products” that he said he’s excited for fans to hear, and which he can’t wait to bring to people for some live performances over the next few months.

The project is a diverse offering of different sounds and styles that he hopes will be attractive to a wide variety of listeners. It features his unique sound and style that mixes clever wordplay laced with subtle humor that often leads to deeper ideas, all within a beat and vibe that people can enjoy.

“People can’t relate to a lot of the rap out there, but they jump to it because that’s what’s on the radio,” Nealy said. “I want people to understand me and know where my heart is when I’m writing music. And I want them to feel it the same way I feel it. My songs always depend on the beat. If I find something I like, I’ll listen to it over and over until I get the feel of it, and then I ask myself, ‘What can that feeling represent? Is it about love, or is it a club song, or is it a song that’s just for cruising and having a good time and smoking with my buddies?’ I never have an idea of the song until I actually fully feel the song I’m about to write to, and when it comes together I know others are gonna feel it, too.”

A perfect example of that is the debut single from the album, “The Passion of Rapping.” It’s a song that serves as an announcement to the world that his pursuit of success within the music industry is a serious endeavor that others should take seriously, too. It’s a song that proves he really can rap, and it perfectly encapsulates all the things he represents as an artist – funny, serious, cool and a little bit different. A music video for the single is due to drop in mid-to-late November.

Arielle was born and raised in the small town of Durham, North Carolina but always had big city dreams. As a young girl, it was normal to find Arielle singing in her mirror or shower, but her most favorite place to sing was the on the phone – while unfortunately making her friends listen to her vocals and judge her as if she was a contestant on American Idol. Although this may have been more effective if Arielle did not make sure she won every time, she knew one day these nettlesome, yet encouraging, phone calls will become reality. Upon graduating from college, Arielle decided to take her love for music to the next level and give her dreams a shot. She began her career in Atlanta and has since transitioned to NYC where she is currently recording her first project. She is expecting to release her EP this year in July and is working hard to reach new heights in this industry. Through her experiences, she wants to remind every young person that with a mustard seed of faith and hard work, the sky is the limit.

#NewVideo TOPE – Never Told You @itsTOPE

West Coast Producer and Rapper TOPE travels to Las Vegas to film the Official Music Video for his new single, “Never Told You”.

After the successful release for his gospel-influenced single Faithful, featuring underground legends Blu and Abstract Rude, TOPE digs deeper into his stash of unreleased music to drop the inspiring and emotional anthem, “Never Told You”. Playing every instrument including Piano, Bass, Drums and Synthesizers on Reason 10, TOPE’s latest single marks his first non-sampled production to date, showing the growth in not only him as a person but also as a Producer.

After moving from Portland to The Bay, then to LA and back to The Bay, TOPE had all of his music stolen from a laptop at a concert in San Francisco and almost consider walking away from releasing music in early 2017. The words “I never told ’bout the time I almost gave up on myself” repeat heavily as TOPE explains how he was defeated but still made a persevered through the hard times. Back to work this year, TOPE recently returned from playing live shows with Self Jupiter of Freestyle Fellowship and Blu, as well as producing for New York City legend Skyzoo.

A resurgence of sorts it seems like this up and coming West Coast artist might just be back and better than ever. Be sure to press play on the Official Music Video for “Never Told You” and also stream TOPE’s new music available on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and more.
