New Music: @BKbrasco “Pray” (Audio)

Timbaland artist BK Brasco is reintroducing a record that has become a fan favorite, “Pray.” While he currently prepares his major label debut, Brasco is demonstrating a more reflective yet swagged out side on this track. He talks about going out and getting everything that you prayed for, that includes money, cars, clothes success and what happened when he got it.

The first verse may remind you of a typical rapper’s swag about women and materialistic things, but if you listen closely to the second verse, you can hear Brasco telling his true life story about leaving the street life, getting check from Jimmy Iovine, living the high life and not quite being ready for it all. The moral of the story is actual an age old proverb…”Be careful what you wish for…”

(Audio) @ThisIsMooch “Dipset Forever”

Harlem rapper Mooch is following up his first single “A&R’s Dream” with a new record “Dipset Forever.” While he is not the first one to tackle the track, Mooch goes hard with his lyric calling out fake gangsters, fake friends and and so-called street dudes. Mooch demostrates why he is more than worth the listen. He is not trying to sing his own hooks or dumb down his lyrics for anyone. Mooch is a throwback to real hip hop when rappers had to be lyricists and the title carried prestige.
